Today we went to the fire station as our field trip this week for safety/camping week. We split into three different groups to tour the facility. Each group had a tour of the inside of the building, then we got to the great part and went to the trucks! We learned so much about what the fire-fighters and EMS do and what all of the machines and vehicles are used for. It was so educational for all of us to be there. The kids were able to ask some awesome questions throughout the trip. By the end of the tour we were all really exhausted, and so were the firefighters and EMS as well, so we re-energized a little and ate fruit snacks for a snack, which EVERYONE enjoyed. (Even all of the strong firefighters) At the very end of the tour we took a group photo with all of our amazing tour guides. They even got included in on the “cool” picture of the week. That has seemed to be our theme of the pictures this year so far!

Tomorrow we will finish off our week with finishing the tie-dying of t-shirts and a few other fun activities!
