We offer Movie Nights, Get Fit Classes, Dime-A-Dip Dinners, Rec Run, Summer Recreation for children, 4th of July Celebration and the popular Fall Art and Craft Fair. New this year we will be adding a Healthy Living Expo on Saturday, September 19th.
The Recreation Committee honors our great country with a July 4th celebration! Our festivities bring music, refreshments, family games and fireworks. Our country has celebrated the 4th of July over 250 years. What a better way to celebrate than to have family, friends and neighbors socialize and have fun. We would like to continue our 4th of July celebration tradition with the familiar sounds of families chatting, the smell of sparklers burning, and the sight of fireworks that light up our children’s eyes.
Due to municipal cutbacks the Village of Brooklyn has eliminated funding for the 4th of July celebration. The Recreation Committee is asking for your assistance. A monetary contribution of any amount is welcomed and appreciated.
We will recognize your donation (minimum of $50) by putting your business name on display on a banner at Legion Park on the 4th of July. Business name and Logo will be added for those donations of $250.00 or more. Also, your name and/or Logo will appear on our social media pages and website. All Logos must be in high resolution or high resolution vector style (all donation amounts). Email this information, or if you have any questions, contact by email, the Recreation Committee at recreation@brooklynwi.gov by June 15th. Most of all, we invite you to share our festivities at Legion Park on the 4th of July. Enjoy what you have made possible with the gift you have given to our community. We look forward to seeing you on the 4th!
