Since 2011 Brooklyn Recreation has been having the Holiday House Lighting Contest. It is such fun to see just how colorful Brooklyn becomes during the holidays and how creative our residents are in decorating their homes. This year we had removed one rule AND even decked out the judges’ vehicles (to make our residents feel better about seeing someone taking pictures.) For the past two years we had asked that residents help nominate their favorites to further help us decide the winners.
2nd Place going to 135 Marcie Drive,
& finally 3rd Place is 307 Kerch Street
Lets just say this year was tough decision, as there were a lot of AWESOME holiday decorated lighted homes.
