Today was a crazy day! We learned about a couple more kids interests. We learned that some kids love camping, light sabers (Star Wars), Minecraft and books. We also learned about our coordinator Gabby’s, hobby. She loves rowing. She has scholarships for her college for rowing and enjoys it so much and was excited to tell us all about it!
Once we were done with that we went to the park to start our painting of the bathroom. We were all very thankful we had an extra hand on deck who is super creative. One of the mom’s came to join us and helped one of the sides paint their grass. All of the kids worked super hard to help paint the “grass” on the building.
When we were done we went back to the community building and learned about another hobby, decorating deserts. We each got a cupcake and some icing, frosting and sprinkles to decorate the cupcakes to learn a little more about what it is like to do that hobby. It got a little messy and the kids got a little bit of a sugar high from the sugar, but everyone had so much fun, which is what we wanted!
We are so excited for our trip tomorrow to the Waelti Horse Farm!
