The Full CrewToday we continued out 4th of July theme by making homemade bomb pops.  We layered cranberry-apple juice with blue Gatorade and piña colada juice to create a red, white and blue popsicle.  We also made eagles with the kids.  We traced their hands as the wings.  The kids dressed their eagles up in suits, dresses, bowties, and hair ribbons.  The kids enjoyed cutting, pasting, and decorating our nation’s bird!  The kids also got to run off their extra energy with a few games of steal the bacon and tag.  We enjoyed the sunshine today and ate snack outside while parents began to pick up their kids.

The kids will be getting their fully frozen popsicles tomorrow for snack.  They will also be able to take home all of their crafts that they have made (providing that they have finally dried.)  As a reminder Brooklyn has some great fireworks for free on Thursday night if you’re still looking for something to do over the holiday weekend.
